Hi all,
Wow - it's been a whole year since I last posted. I can't believe how fast time flies. A lot has happened in the past year. I am now engaged to a wonderful woman and we are getting married in October.
I have not had time to work on my book or keep up with this blog, http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifdue to wedding planning and pursuing other interests (such as cycling and the MS 150).
When things settle down, I'll get back on my book, although I will organize the content in a different way than when I started. I would also like to start a new website for myself to promote the book. I can't wait!
As for my CI, things are going well. I believe I'm hovering around 50% without lipreading on sentences, it has made communication relatively easier, but I have been becoming more and more sensitive to annoying noises and sometimes I turn off my CI when I want a little peace and quiet or when I need to concentrate.
More later!
